Frequently asked questions
Short answers about driftwood, the AI sales agent that runs demo-led outbound. For anything else, email aayush@driftwood.sh.
What is driftwood?
driftwood is an AI sales agent that runs demo-led outbound. It researches each prospect, builds a working demo of your product for their business, and sends the message from your own LinkedIn or email account. A human reviews every message before it goes out.
What is demo-led outbound?
Demo-led outbound is cold outreach where every message carries a working demo of your product, built for the specific prospect. The message does not argue that your product would help; it shows the product already working on something the prospect owns. There is a longer explanation on the demo-led outbound page.
What does the demo actually look like?
It is a working demo of your product, applied to the prospect's own business. One example: at Autosana, the agent found a real bug on a prospect's own site and sent a 19-second demo video of Autosana's product catching it. The prospect opens a cold message and watches your product working on their problem.
Does driftwood send messages by itself?
No. Every message lands in a review queue, and a human approves every single send. Nothing goes out without approval.
What accounts does it send from?
Your own accounts. You connect your LinkedIn or email, and messages go out under your name rather than from a bot inbox. Replies come back to the same account, so the conversation stays yours.
How is driftwood different from AI SDR tools like 11x or Artisan?
Tools like 11x, Artisan, or AiSDR automate the volume and personalization of the copy. driftwood personalizes the proof: every message ships a working demo of your product, built for that prospect's business. It also keeps a human approving every send, and it sends from your own account instead of a bot inbox.
What results has it gotten?
In week one at Autosana (YC S25), driftwood got 14× the replies of prior founder-led outbound on the same lead list, where the founders' self-reported reply rate was under 1%. One CTO who had ignored 4.5 months of outreach replied in about 12 hours and booked a call. That is one company's observed result, not a promise.
Who is driftwood for?
driftwood is for B2B founders and teams doing cold outbound who want replies from senior people. Senior people skim claims and ignore them; a working demo of your product on their business is harder to ignore. The demo does the convincing.
How much does driftwood cost?
driftwood is a monthly subscription, typically between $1,000 and $5,000 per month depending on send volume and channels. The exact number comes out of a short call about your motion: book a demo and we will scope it together.
How do I get started?
Book a demo and we will walk through the agent on your own product, including pricing, which is not public. You can also email aayush@driftwood.sh directly.
